On October 18, the 7th (2024) China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition-Industrial Transformation Special Competition was successfully held in Tianjin. The competition is jointly sponsored by the National Medical Device Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, Tianjin Food and Drug Administration, Tianjin Xiqing District People’s Government and the Medical Device Innovation Network. It aims to promote the innovation and development of the medical device industry, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into industry, and accelerate the high-quality development of my country’s medical device industry.


Wuhan Half the Sky, with its independently developed minimally invasive-intelligent medical surgery system, stood out among more than 20 innovative final projects with its outstanding innovation and outstanding clinical applicability, and won the second prize in the industrial transformation special competition of the 7th (2024) China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which once again demonstrated the company’s strong strength in the field of minimally invasive medical devices.

Wuhan Half the Sky Minimally Invasive – Intelligent Medical Surgical System includes the company’s minimally invasive energy platform (radio frequency, ultrasound, rotational incision, laser, etc.), minimally invasive surgical instruments (radio frequency ultrasonic cutters, needle hook forceps and scissors, anastomotic hemostatic sutures, urinary tract and other high-value consumables) and the continuous development of intelligent surgical systems. Tongmai’s surgical robot end effectors, pelvic floor rehabilitation robots and other series of products involve 18 core authorized inventions of the company, more than 60 invention patents that have entered actual review, more than 100 utility model patent authorizations, as well as multiple software copyrights and medical device registration certificates.
