Cervical cancer is one of the common gynecological malignant tumors, and its incidence ranks second among female malignant tumors in my country, after breast cancer. In 2015, there were approximately 111,000 new cases and 34,000 deaths in my country. The average age of cervical cancer patients in my country is 51 years old. In 2020, there will be approximately 600,000 new cases of cervical cancer worldwide, and approximately 100,000 cases will occur in my country. Traditional treatment methods have many limitations in terms of efficacy and safety. For example, the condition is prone to recurrence and deterioration, “part of the cervical tissue is lost”, unpleasant toxic smoke is produced during the operation, and bleeding is often repeated after the operation, which places a heavy burden on patients and their families.
The patient’s not-too-excessive cry of “I don’t want to have my cervix removed” strikes the hearts of Qiu Xuewen, chairman of Wuhan Half the Sky Medical Technology Development Co., Ltd. The R&D team of Wuhan Half the Sky integrated the three major technologies of cervical radiofrequency ablation, automatic smokeless cervical circumcision, and automatic cervical cold knife conization, thus successfully developing the “RF4-Rapid Knife Treatment System”. Among them, radio frequency is a high-frequency oscillating current that produces a biological hyperthermia effect in tissues. It has no electrolytic effect on tissues and does not cause neuromuscular contraction reactions. It can treat both superficial lesions and deep diseases without any protection during treatment. Taking radiofrequency ablation of the Ruifu knife to treat vaginal wall lesions as an example, the electromagnetic waves released by the knife act on the tissue at the vaginal atypical hyperplasia. The electromagnetic waves excite the ions in the cells to undergo plasma oscillation. The friction of the ions produces a biothermal effect, causing the protein of the diseased tissue to denature, necrosis, and fall off, and replace it with new squamous epithelium to cover the wound surface, thereby achieving cure. There will be no increase in blood vessel opening after treatment to avoid secondary implantation of HPV viruses that have not been cleared in time or are re-infected during the repair period.
This innovative treatment method works at a low frequency (550KHz), with a treatment temperature of 60-80°C and a treatment time of 10-20 minutes. A leader in the subject to improve the technical level of obstetrics and gynecology doctors across the country; Wuhan Half the Sky will also join hands with the China Eugenics and Eugenics Association to build 100 gynecological minimally invasive training centers across the country to spread gynecological radiofrequency minimally invasive treatment technology that benefits women across the country to every corner of China.
