According to the “Notice of the Office of the National Medical Security Administration on the Implementation of 15 Coding Standards for Medical Security Information Businesses”, in order to speed up the formation of a unified national coding standard for medical security information services, an urgent notice is now issued on standardizing the coding system of medical consumables on the Internet in our province as follows:
1. Product scope
All medical consumables (excluding testing reagents and other catalog products) listed on the Provincial Centralized Procurement Service Platform for Pharmaceutical Equipment (hereinafter referred to as the Provincial Platform) need to carry out coding maintenance.
2. Work content
Compare the medical consumables information table compiled by the National Medical Security Administration, find the same product information as the medical consumables listed on the “provincial platform”, and select the corresponding medical consumables code.
3. Operation method
The consumables manufacturer logs into the “Medical Consumables Centralized Procurement System” and enters the “Transaction System” – “National Medical Insurance Code Maintenance” module.
Step 1: Maintain the enterprise serial code on the “Enterprise Serial Code Maintenance” menu page.
Step 2: On the “Product Code Maintenance” menu page, first select the component to associate the “National Supplies Code” and click the Split button, then fill in the “Specification Model Serial Code” based on the CODE information, or fill in the import association through Excel import.
4. Time arrangement
All relevant medical consumables companies must log in to the “Provincial Platform” before December 12, 2021 to complete the coding maintenance of medical consumables that have been linked to the network.
5. Things to note
1. For products that do not yet have national medical insurance codes, companies should apply to the National Medical Insurance Administration as soon as possible in accordance with relevant requirements. After obtaining the medical insurance code, promptly enter the “provincial platform” to maintain the code of medical consumables.
2. If there are new medical consumables added to the network in the later period, the company will promptly log in to the “Provincial Platform” to maintain the medical consumables coding information after the winning bid and the results of the network are announced.
