On January 25, the 2024 New Year Tea Party for Optics Valley Bioindustry Entrepreneurs hosted by the Wuhan National Bioindustry Base Construction Service Center was successfully held in Optics Valley Biocity. Wang Xiaolin, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of the East Lake High-tech Zone and secretary of the Biocity Party Committee, said that in the new year, the Biocity will launch ten major measures, including continuing to create a first-class business environment, formulating special policies, strengthening biotechnology research institutes, revitalizing the scientific research resources of the Biocity, and strengthening the Optics Valley Bioindustry Fund to protect the development of enterprises.
A reporter from Xinhua News Agency’s Hubei branch interviewed Qiu Xuewen, general manager of Wuhan Half the Sky, at the award ceremony, and reported on the high-frequency ultrasound dual-output surgical system developed by Half the Sky that can coagulate blood vessels with a diameter of 7 mm. This innovative product was approved for the country’s first Class III registration certificate in November 2023, making my country an international leader in the field of radiofrequency ultrasonic scalpel segmentation.
